Professional Mentorship & Supervision

You’ll be introduced to your placement hospital by a Msafiri Tours coordinator, and assigned a dedicated Ugandan doctor as your mentor. Your mentor will:

• Guide you through each department.

• Provide informal clinical teaching and answer your questions.

• Offer a realistic insight into a medical career.

• Support you in keeping a reflective journal for your med school application.

• Write a personalized letter of recommendation upon successful completion of your internship.
