This 15 Days Uganda wildlife safari was designed to allow tourists to enjoy the best that Uganda has to offer.

The real journey starts from Kampala where you will head to Murchison Falls National Park for a game drive and launch cruise (There is a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary). You will then be taken to Semuliki National Park for another game drive, a sighting of the Sempaya hot springs and a visit to the Batwa Pygmies. After Semuliki, the guide will drive you to track chimpanzees at Kibale National Park while also touring the Bigodi swamp. As you leave for Queen Elizabeth park, you will have a stopover to spot the legendary Mabera ga Nyina Mwiru caves. When you reach Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will be involved in a sunset Launch cruise and two Game Drives at Kasenyi and Ishasha sectors of the park. You will then head to track mountain gorillas at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. After gorilla trekking, you will be taken to Lake Bunyonyi for bird watching/ canoeing and then to Lake Mburo National Park for a game drive. After Lake Mburo, you will head to Jinja via Kampala city for white water rafting and visiting the source of the Great River Nile. From Jinja, you will be driven to Entebbe Airport for departure.

A little information about the National Parks. Murchison Falls National Park is the largest wildlife conservation area in Uganda. It is the only park that offers a real chance of seeing all the big five mammals in Uganda. Semuliki National Park is one of the top birding spots in Uganda. The other attractions are the amazing hot springs and a chance to explore the vast forest in the park during a nature walk. The forests in Semuliki are unique in Uganda because it is an extension of the vast forests of west Africa. It is therefore possible to spot creatures that are only found in Congo and other countries of West/Central Africa. Kibale National Park is one of the best places for tracking small primates in the world. Over 12 species can be sighted including the common chimpanzee.

Queen Elizabeth on the other hand is arguably the most visited national park in Uganda. What makes it unique is the landscape and beautiful scenery. The beautiful scenery is a result of ancient earth movements which created crater lakes, gorges, valleys and other creations. The park remains relatively green throughout the year. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to about half of the overall population of Mountain gorillas. Bwindi is a UNESCO World Heritage site because of its remarkable biodiversity. Lake Mburo is Uganda’s smallest savanna National Park. The park is an excellent antelope and zebra habitat. It is also arguably the best place to spot leopards.
