A visa is your ticket to a warm welcome in Uganda! You can obtain an entry visa from Ugandan missions and embassies abroad, or even at the country’s entry and exit points, like Entebbe International Airport. Uganda Visa Fees – Effective June 2007

Single Uganda Entry Visa: US$50
Multiple Uganda Entry Visa (6 months): US$100
Multiple Uganda Entry Visa (1 year): US$200
Inland Transit Visa: US$15
In 1999, Uganda introduced requirements for obtaining a Ugandan entry visa for all visitors and people entering the country except nationals of a few countries, including:
Antigua, Angola, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Seychelles, Vanuatu, Comoros, Cyprus, Eritrea, Fiji, Gambia, Solomon Islands, Sierra Leone, Grenada, Singapore, Jamaica, Kenya, Lesotho, Swaziland, Italy (Diplomatic Passports), Malawi, Malta, Mauritius, Madagascar, Rwanda, and Tanzania

To get a Uganda entry visa, follow these steps:

1. Determine the type of visa you need: Depending on the purpose of your visit to Uganda, choose the appropriate category like tourist, business, transit, diplomatic, etc.

2. Obtain a visa application form: Download and fill out the online visa application form available on the Uganda Immigration website: https://visas.immigration.go.ug/

3. Prepare required documents: Gather all the necessary supporting documents, which include:
– A valid passport with at least six months validity from the date of entry
– Two recent passport-sized photographs
– A copy of your travel itinerary or a return ticket
– Proof of yellow fever vaccination
– Additional relevant documents depending on your visa category (i.e., invitation letter, proof of financial support or employment, etc.)

4. Pay the visa fee: The fees vary depending on the type of visa and duration of your stay. Find the appropriate fee for your visa category and make the payment via the online platform when submitting your application.

5. Submit your application: Upload your completed application form, supporting documents, and proof of payment on the Uganda Immigration website.

6. Receive your visa approval: If your application is approved, you will receive visa approval via email. Make sure to print it out and move with copy where necessary.

7. Obtain the visa at the point of entry: Finally, present your visa approval letter, original passport, and other required documents to the immigration authorities upon arrival in Uganda. They will stamp the visa into your passport.
