Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Nairobi (Saturday)
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, and transfer to your accommodation. Relax, meet fellow volunteers, and explore the local area.
Meals: Dinner (subject to arrival time)

Day 2 – Orientation & Nairobi Sightseeing (Sunday)
After breakfast, join a program orientation to review your upcoming schedule. Then, visit the Giraffe Center to feed giraffes and enjoy scenic views. Follow this with a Nairobi city tour, including a visit to a local market.

Day 3–7 – Volunteer Work (Monday–Friday)
Begin your hands-on volunteering at orphanages, childcare centers, or kindergartens in suburban Nairobi (Gitaru, Kikuyu, and nearby areas). Tasks include teaching, organizing games, meal preparation, and providing care for street children and orphans.
Work Hours: 4–6 hours/day (weekdays)

Day 8–9 – Lake Naivasha & Lake Nakuru Safari (Saturday–Sunday)
Depart Nairobi and journey through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha for a scenic boat ride. Continue to Lake Nakuru for a thrilling game drive to spot wildlife such as lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and colorful birds. Return to Nairobi on Day 9 afternoon.

Day 10–13 – Volunteer Work (Monday–Thursday)
Continue your volunteer placement, deepening your connections with the children and contributing to their growth, learning, and well-being.
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 14 – Mamba Village & Bomas of Kenya (Friday)
Explore Mamba Village to see Nile crocodiles and ostrich farms, followed by a visit to Bomas of Kenya to experience traditional Kenyan villages, arts, crafts, music, and dance. Enjoy a traditional Kenyan meal with your group.
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

Day 15 – Departure (Saturday)
Program concludes. Airport drop-offs can be arranged at a nominal cost.

  • Volunteers must be 17 years or older.
